Mission Statement
Engaging and educating individuals in Sevier County to take greater responsibility for improving their community’s environment
Logo
KSB's logo was designed using the Trillium flower, native to the
Smokey Mountains. Each flower represents an area that KSB serves: Sevier County,
Pittman Center, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. The three prongs of
the trillium represent the partnership of businesses, citizens, and government
in a joint effort of responsibility toward beautification, environmental impact,
and natural resource conservation.
Management
KSB is a nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer board of
directors and managed by one staff member. Janice Hendrix is the executive
director.
Funding
Revenue needed to fund Keep Sevier Beautiful is raised through
governmental funding, corporate contributions, and individual donations.
Sponsors include: Sevier County Electric System, Blalock Companies, Dollywood,
Citizens National Bank, Sevier
County Utility District, Sevier County Bank, and the cities of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge,
Sevierville, Pittman Center, and Sevier County.
